About Us:

The Center for Speech Therapy and Speech Development of Mrs. Tahtatzi Eleftherias is based in Kastoria and 62 Athanasiou Diakou Street, is a newly established space specially designed, which was created with a lot of love and awaits young and old!

The purpose of the center is the timely evaluation and provision of personalized treatments to people of all ages (children, adolescents, adults and the elderly) as well as their families, who have difficulties in developmental areas, communication, speech and language in general in the learning process.

⇒*MUSIC-KINETICS* :

Music-kinetic education combines music, movement, speech and theater, all in a natural way, which approaches children’s play, children’s thinking and imagination.

In music-kinetics we apply the basic principles with inspiration and initiative.

Imagination dominates, so children have the opportunity to discover and produce sounds, to get to know the various movements and expressions of the body but also to learn through the process of imitation.

Learning takes place in a simple, natural, effortlessand creative way.

Also, through music-kinetics, the development of the child’s aesthetics is strengthened as well as his perception at every level: perception of space, time, forms, colors.

Music and movement education promotes socialization, teamwork, psycho-emotional improvement, development of musical skills.

It also includes rhythmic education using percussion and melodic instruments of individuals, imitation, dramatization, projects for the acquaintance of musical instruments, the construction of instruments with simple materials, musical fairy tales and various music-kinetic education activities (voice, speech, song, movement, space).

Digital games of educational content are of great importance to children regardless of age.

Digital gamesare usually combined with leisure.

However, in the science of speech therapy these games follow the principle of gamification and target the mental, social and at the same time cognitive areas that are in short supply when there is some kind of disorder.

After all, digital games are an attractive and fun way.

Through them, children enrich their vocabulary, create a well-structured discourse, create semantic networks, promote the development of critical thinking, have fun and LEARN BY PLAYING !!

The head of the center Tahtatzi Eleftheriais a graduate of the Department of Speech and Language Therapy of the University of Ioannina, holder of the license to practice the profession of Speech Therapist and active member of the Association of Speech Therapists of Greece (SELLE).

In the past and until today, he is particularly concerned with “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD”.

During her academic years, she completed her thesis “New Technologies in ADHD”.

He also possesses the basic musical knowledge, knowing piano and violin.

She is a graduate of EPAL, specializing in Assistant Dental Technician of the Health-Welfare-Wellness Sector.

Finally, she has been trained in a number of relevant specialized seminars by both Universities and private institutions on special education, speech therapy, education, sociology and psychology.
