The head of the speech therapy center Xenia Messari is a graduate of the Department of Speech Therapy ATEI Patras, holder of the license to practice the profession of Speech Therapist, with postgraduate studies in dysphagia organized by the European Society for Swallowing Disorders at universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

He has previously worked in Athens in a Speech Therapy Center, Kindergarten, KDAP, and has attended sessions at the “HEALTH” Hospital for restoring speech, communication and ingestion in children and adults with neurological and degenerative disorders.

It has also carried out therapeutic riding as Hippotherapist in children with psychomotor disorders and autism.

Through continuous training, she continues to attend seminars, workshops, conferences and post-training courses, in order to expand her knowledge, specialize and know modern methods of evaluation and intervention in children and adults.

Purpose:

The purpose of the therapists in the speech therapy center is the timely evaluation, but also the organization of the most appropriate personalized programs with the deeper goal of achieving the best possible result for the child or adult in cooperation with each family. The intervention is done through the game mainly with rich sensory stimuli.
